Roque Nublo is a monolith located in the municipality of Tejeda in Gran Canaria.
It is considered one of the most emblematic symbols of the island.
Since 1994 it has been protected by the law on Natural Spaces of the Canary Islands as a natural monument of Roque Nublo. It is located in the rural park of El Nublo and is situated in the geographical centre of the island, on land belonging to the municipality of Tejeda, in a very abrupt area.
Of volcanic origin, the rock rises approximately 80 metres above its base and 1813 metres above sea level. In 1987 it was declared a Natural Area and in 1994 it was declared a natural monument, included in the Nublo Rural Park.
